What is Lumia?

Lumia is a mobile app by Meridian Labs LLC that combines daily astrology insights, tarot readings, reflective journaling, birth chart analysis, community discovery, and spiritual classes — all in one calming, mystical space. It's designed to be your daily companion for cosmic guidance and self-discovery.

How do I create an account?

Download Lumia from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Open the app and sign in using Apple or Google, or create an account with your name and email. During onboarding, you can enter your birth information and select your areas of interest (astrology, tarot, journaling, etc.).

How does the Daily Insight work?

Each day, Lumia's Now dashboard delivers a personalized message, the current moon sign and phase, and a Card of the Day. These insights are tailored to help you align with the cosmic energy of the day.

How do Tarot Readings work in Lumia?

Tap "Draw Card" to pull a daily tarot card. You can optionally enter a question before drawing. Lumia displays the card image, name, upright/reversed meaning, and a short and detailed interpretation. You'll also receive a reflection prompt and the option to save the reading to your journal.

Can I keep my journal entries private?

Yes. Every journal entry has a privacy toggle. Set it to "Private" and only you can see it. Set it to "Public" to share your insights with the Lumia community in the Discovery feed. You can change this setting at any time.

What is the Discovery feed?

The Discovery feed is Lumia's community space where users share public journal entries. You can browse, react (upvote/downvote), save, and comment on posts. Filter by tags like Moon, Ritual, Relationships, Career, Healing, and more to find inspiration that resonates with you.

How do I view my birth chart?

Navigate to the Birth Chart section in Lumia. If you entered your birth details during onboarding, your chart is already generated. You'll see personalized interpretations for each placement — for example, "Your Moon in Pisces makes you highly intuitive and emotionally fluid."

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account directly within Lumia by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Alternatively, you can email hello@meridian-labs.co with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We will process your request and delete all associated data within 30 days.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. On iOS, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions. You can cancel at any time before the next billing cycle.

Is my personal data secure?

Yes. We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard encryption and security practices. All personal data — including birth information, journal entries, and tarot history — is encrypted in transit and at rest. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

Are the wellness tools a substitute for professional help?

No. Lumia's wellness and mental health features are designed to support general well-being and self-care. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
